How to find a cheaper flight

Airfares move because seats sell, not at random. These are the choices that actually change what you pay.

  1. 01

    Be flexible with your dates

The same route can cost noticeably more or less a day either side, because airlines sell seats in price bands that sell out at different rates.

  2. 02

    Compare one-stop itineraries

A connecting flight is often priced below a nonstop one. Weigh the saving against the total travel time and the length of the connection.

  3. 03

Look at the total, not the headline fare

The lowest fares often leave out checked baggage or seat selection. Add what you need before comparing prices.

  4. 04

    Read the fare conditions

Cheaper fares are usually stricter about changes and refunds. A fare you can change may cost less overall if your plans might move.

  5. 05

    Search your real passenger count

Fares are quoted per traveller against the seats still available, so searching for everyone at once gives a price you can actually book.

Compare flights on what matters

Every search returns the full itinerary for each option — not just a price. Filter and sort the results to find the flight that fits your trip, then check the fare conditions before you pay. The fare is re-checked with the airline at checkout, so the total you confirm is the total you are charged.

Flight booking FAQ

When is my e-ticket issued?

For most fares your e-ticket is issued within seconds of payment and emailed to you. If an airline needs manual ticketing, we issue it before the airline's deadline and keep you updated.

Can I choose seats and add baggage?

Yes. During booking you can view the seat map and add checked baggage where the airline offers them online — the price updates live before you pay.

What if the fare changes before I pay?

We re-check the fare with the airline at checkout. If it changed, we show you the new total and ask you to confirm again — you're never charged a different price silently.

  • Can I cancel or change my booking?

Cancellation and change options depend on the airline's fare rules, shown on every offer. You can request a cancellation or change from My trips, and any eligible refund is processed automatically.

Which payment methods can I use?

All major credit and debit cards via secure encrypted checkout, plus your wallet balance where available.

How can I find a cheaper flight?

Be flexible with your dates if you can, compare itineraries with one stop as well as nonstop ones, and look at the total price including any baggage you need rather than the headline fare alone.

Does the cheapest fare include checked baggage?

Not always. Baggage allowance depends on the airline and the fare type, and the lowest fares often exclude checked bags. The allowance is shown with each offer, so compare the total you will actually pay.

Why is a connecting flight sometimes cheaper than a nonstop one?

Airlines often price connecting itineraries lower to make up for the longer journey. Compare the total travel time and the length of each connection alongside the fare before deciding the saving is worth it.

    Can I book one-way or multi-city trips?

Yes. You can search and book one-way, round-trip and multi-city itineraries from the search panel at the top of this page.
