Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: August 29, 2026

At FlyZafy, we understand that travel plans can change. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, flight changes, airline cancellations, schedule changes, no-shows, and related fees are handled for bookings made through FlyZafy.

FlyZafy LLC (“FlyZafy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) acts as a travel intermediary for travel services provided by airlines and other travel suppliers. Your booking may therefore be subject to both this Policy and the applicable airline or supplier's fare rules and conditions.

1. Cancellation Eligibility

Whether you can cancel a flight and receive a refund depends on several factors, including:

  • Airline
  • Fare type
  • Ticket rules
  • Route
  • Time remaining before departure
  • Whether the ticket has been partially used
  • No-show status
  • Applicable laws and regulations

Some tickets are refundable, while others may be partially refundable or completely non-refundable.

Before purchasing a flight, please review the applicable fare conditions.

2. Refundable Tickets

If you purchased a refundable fare, you may generally request cancellation and a refund subject to the airline's fare rules.

Depending on those rules, cancellation penalties, supplier charges, or applicable FlyZafy service fees may apply.

The amount returned will be determined after applying any permitted deductions.

3. Non-Refundable Tickets

Many discounted airline fares are non-refundable.

If your ticket is non-refundable, cancellation may not result in a refund of the airfare.

Depending on the airline's rules, however, you may qualify for:

  • A travel credit
  • Future flight credit
  • Partial refund of eligible taxes
  • Rebooking
  • Other airline-authorized alternatives

Any credit issued by an airline may be subject to expiration dates, passenger restrictions, route restrictions, fare differences, or other conditions.

4. U.S. 24-Hour Cancellation Rules

Certain airline bookings involving travel to or from the United States may qualify for cancellation protections under applicable U.S. Department of Transportation requirements.

Eligibility depends on factors such as how and when the reservation was made, the scheduled departure date, and how the airline makes its inventory available through the booking channel.

Where a legally required 24-hour cancellation or refund right applies to your FlyZafy booking, FlyZafy will process eligible requests in accordance with applicable law and the relevant airline requirements.

A customer should not assume that every booking automatically qualifies for free cancellation within 24 hours.

Contact FlyZafy Support as soon as possible if you wish to cancel shortly after booking.

5. How to Request a Cancellation

To request cancellation of a booking made through FlyZafy, contact FlyZafy Support through the support options provided on our website.

Please provide:

  • FlyZafy booking reference
  • Airline booking reference/PNR, if available
  • Passenger name
  • Flight information
  • Contact information

We may need to verify the identity of the customer or traveler before processing certain requests.

Do not assume your booking is canceled until you receive confirmation.

6. Cancellation Before Departure

Cancellation requests should be submitted before the scheduled departure time.

Airlines may impose stricter deadlines.

If a cancellation request is received too close to departure, FlyZafy may not have sufficient time to process it before the airline considers the traveler a no-show.

We recommend contacting us as early as possible.

7. No-Show Policy

If you do not cancel your reservation and fail to check in or board your scheduled flight, the airline may classify you as a no-show.

A no-show can result in:

  • Loss of the ticket's remaining value
  • Additional penalties
  • Cancellation of subsequent flight segments
  • Loss of eligibility for a refund or credit

If you know you will not be able to travel, contact FlyZafy or the airline before departure whenever possible.

8. Airline-Canceled Flights

If the airline cancels your flight, your rights and available options may differ from a voluntary cancellation.

Depending on the circumstances, applicable airline policy, and applicable law, you may be eligible for:

  • Rebooking on another flight
  • Alternative transportation offered by the airline
  • Travel credit
  • Refund of the eligible unused portion of your ticket

Where applicable law gives you a right to a refund following an airline cancellation or significant change and you reject the alternative transportation offered, FlyZafy will handle the eligible refund request in accordance with those requirements.

9. Significant Schedule Changes

Airlines may change flight schedules after ticketing.

Changes can include:

  • Departure or arrival time
  • Flight number
  • Routing
  • Connection
  • Airport
  • Cabin
  • Operating carrier
  • Flight cancellation

If an airline makes a significant change to your itinerary, available options will depend on the airline's policy and applicable law.

You may be offered an alternative itinerary. In qualifying circumstances, you may also be entitled to request a refund instead of accepting the changed itinerary.

10. Flight Delays

A flight delay does not automatically make every ticket eligible for a refund.

Refund eligibility depends on the length and nature of the delay, whether you accept alternative transportation, applicable airline policy, and applicable law.

Contact FlyZafy or the operating airline if a significant delay affects your travel plans.

11. Flight Changes and Rebooking

If you want to change your flight rather than cancel it, your request will be subject to the ticket's fare rules.

A change may involve:

New Fare – Original Fare + Airline Penalty + Applicable Service Fee

If the new flight costs more than your original itinerary, you may be required to pay the fare difference.

Some airlines or fare types may waive change penalties while still requiring payment of a fare difference.

Certain tickets cannot be changed.

12. Refund Amount

The amount of an approved refund depends on the applicable fare rules and circumstances.

Potential deductions may include:

  • Airline cancellation penalties
  • Used portions of a ticket
  • Non-refundable fare components
  • Non-refundable taxes or charges where legally permitted
  • Previously disclosed FlyZafy service fees where applicable
  • Other supplier-authorized deductions

Any deduction will be applied only where permitted by the applicable rules and law.

13. FlyZafy Service Fees

FlyZafy may charge service or processing fees for certain booking and post-booking services.

These may include services associated with:

  • Ticketing
  • Voluntary changes
  • Cancellations
  • Refund processing
  • Reissues
  • Specialized support

Any applicable FlyZafy fee will be disclosed as required.

Unless otherwise stated or required by law, a service fee may be non-refundable after the associated service has been performed.

14. Refund Processing

Once a refund request is approved, processing may involve FlyZafy, the airline or travel supplier, payment processor, card network, and your financial institution.

The time required to receive funds can therefore vary.

Where a specific refund deadline is required by applicable law, eligible refunds will be processed according to that requirement.

Otherwise, FlyZafy cannot guarantee the exact date on which funds will appear in your account because processing by third parties is outside our direct control.

15. Refund Method

Eligible refunds will generally be returned to the original form of payment, unless another method is required or permitted by applicable law or agreed upon under appropriate circumstances.

For security and fraud-prevention purposes, FlyZafy generally cannot redirect a card refund to an unrelated payment account.

16. Partially Used Tickets

If part of your itinerary has already been flown, refund eligibility for the remaining portion depends on the airline's fare rules and applicable law.

A partially used ticket does not necessarily qualify for a proportional refund.

The airline will determine the eligible residual value according to its applicable rules.

17. Missed Connections

Refund or rebooking eligibility for a missed connection depends on factors such as:

  • Whether the flights were issued as part of the same ticket
  • The reason for the missed connection
  • Airline policies
  • Applicable passenger protections
  • Whether the traveler caused or contributed to the missed flight

Contact the operating airline immediately if you miss a connection while traveling.

18. Separate Tickets

If your journey contains flights purchased on separate tickets, each ticket may be treated as a separate reservation.

If a delay or cancellation on one ticket causes you to miss a flight booked on another independent ticket, the second airline may not provide free rebooking or a refund.

Review your itinerary carefully when booking separate tickets.

19. Name Errors

Travelers are responsible for entering passenger names accurately.

Names should match the traveler's passport or other required travel document.

Airline policies regarding name corrections vary.

Some airlines permit minor corrections for a fee, while others may require cancellation and purchase of a new ticket.

A ticket generally cannot be transferred to another person.

20. Visa, Passport, and Entry Requirements

Failure to obtain the necessary passport, visa, transit visa, health documentation, or other entry requirements does not automatically make a non-refundable ticket refundable.

Travelers are responsible for verifying documentation requirements before booking and traveling.

Any cancellation resulting from missing or invalid travel documents remains subject to applicable airline fare rules unless applicable law or airline policy provides otherwise.

21. Duplicate Bookings

If you accidentally make a duplicate reservation, contact FlyZafy immediately.

Do not independently cancel either booking until the situation has been reviewed.

Whether a duplicate booking can be canceled without penalty depends on the airline's rules and the circumstances.

22. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact FlyZafy Support so we can investigate.

A chargeback submitted through your bank does not automatically cancel an airline ticket or reservation.

Where a payment dispute occurs, FlyZafy may provide relevant booking, ticketing, payment, refund, and communication records to the applicable financial institution or payment network.

Nothing in this section limits rights available to consumers under applicable law.

23. Extraordinary Circumstances

Weather events, natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, security incidents, airport closures, public-health events, and other circumstances may disrupt travel.

Airlines may issue special waivers during these events.

When a waiver applies to your ticket, FlyZafy will follow the applicable airline instructions when handling eligible changes or cancellations.

24. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance may provide protection for certain events not covered by an airline ticket's fare rules.

Coverage depends entirely on the insurance policy purchased.

Purchasing travel insurance does not automatically make an otherwise non-refundable airline ticket refundable through FlyZafy.

Insurance claims generally need to be submitted to the applicable insurance provider.

25. Important Notice

Airline fare rules and government requirements can change.

When an airline's rules or applicable law provide greater refund or cancellation rights than this Policy, those applicable requirements will control.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to waive or restrict any consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
