Islands and beaches off Krabi's coast

Krabi, Thailand

Talay Waek — Separated Sea

At low tide a sandbar rises between Koh Tup, Koh Kai and Koh Mor, and you can walk across the sea between the islands.

Favourite places

  • The sandbar

Between Koh Tup and Koh Kai

At low tide a path of white sand appears, letting you walk across the sea between the islands. As the tide rises the path slowly disappears again, so do not wander far from your boat.

Culture

The area is in a national park: do not take shells, sand or coral, and keep the islands clean.

The "separated sea" appears only when the tide is low, joining the small islands with a path of sand. It is part of the Four Islands trip from Ao Nang.
